Meeting Your Future Therapist

My name is Trisha Crone MS, OTR/L BCP ADHD-RSP

I’ve been working with children and families here in Idaho since 2014, supporting kids through challenges with ADHD, executive functioning, and everyday life skills. Now, I’m thrilled to be stepping into a new chapter as the founder of Shine Therapies, a pediatric occupational therapy clinic right in the heart of Central Boise.

At Shine, I’m combining years of experience with a deep passion for helping kids grow in confidence, independence, and self-regulation, one playful, purposeful session at a time.

MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

What Makes Me Stand Out And Shine

When it comes to your child’s development and emotional well-being, you deserve a provider who truly gets it, both professionally and personally.

I earned my degree in Occupational Therapy from Touro University in Henderson, Nevada, in 2014, and soon returned home to Boise to begin my career in outpatient pediatrics. In 2018, I discovered my true passion: supporting children and adolescents with ADHD and executive functioning challenges. That led me to pursue advanced training and earn my ADHD-RSP certification (ADHD Rehabilitation Service Provider) so I could better serve these kids and their families.

In 2020, I was honored to receive my Board Certification in Pediatrics (BCP) from AOTA, an achievement held by fewer than 1% of occupational therapists nationwide. I’m currently one of only seven OTs in the state of Idaho with this credential.

Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked in outpatient pediatric clinics, spending 3 of those years developing and running an ADHD-specific therapy program. I also worked in a local charter school district, gaining valuable insight into how schools support (and sometimes miss) the needs of neurodivergent learners.

But beyond the credentials and clinic experience, I’m also a mom—a mom of six, ranging from toddler to teen. My oldest son is diagnosed with level 3 autism, so I deeply understand the everyday wins, the invisible battles, and the emotional rollercoaster that can come with raising a neurodivergent child. You’re not alone—I live it, too.

At Shine Therapies, I combine hands-on experience, professional expertise, and a whole lot of heart to help your child grow with confidence, build life skills, and shine in their own way.
