Meeting Your Future Therapist
My name is Trisha Crone MS, OTR/L BCP ADHD-RSP
I’ve been working with children and families here in Idaho since 2014, supporting kids through challenges with ADHD, executive functioning, and everyday life skills. Now, I’m thrilled to be stepping into a new chapter as the founder of Shine Therapies, a pediatric occupational therapy clinic right in the heart of Central Boise.

At Shine, I’m combining years of experience with a deep passion for helping kids grow in confidence, independence, and self-regulation, one playful, purposeful session at a time.

MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
What Makes Me Stand Out And Shine
When it comes to your child’s growth and emotional well-being, you deserve a provider who not only understands kids professionally—but also gets it on a personal level.

I became an occupational therapist in 2014 after graduating from Touro University in Henderson, Nevada, and soon returned home to Boise to start my career in pediatrics. In 2018, I discovered my true passion: helping children and teens with ADHD and executive functioning challenges. Since then, I’ve gone through advanced training and earned my ADHD-RSP certification so I can better support kids who learn and think differently.

In 2020, I received my Board Certification in Pediatrics (BCP) from AOTA—an honor held by fewer than 1% of OTs nationwide. Over the past 11+ years, I’ve worked in outpatient pediatric clinics, created and ran an ADHD-focused therapy program, and spent time in a local charter school district—giving me an inside look at how schools do (and sometimes don’t) meet the needs of neurodivergent learners.

But more than the degrees and certifications, I’m also a mom of six—from toddler to teen. My oldest son has level 3 autism, so I know firsthand what it’s like to celebrate the small victories, navigate the challenges, and ride the emotional rollercoaster of raising a neurodivergent child. You’re not alone—I’m walking this road, too.
At Shine Therapies, I bring together professional expertise, lived experience, and a lot of heart to help kids grow with confidence, build life skills, and shine in their own unique way.
